As an OEA-certified operator, Gelog is required by Receita Federal to run a strict 7-point inspection on every container movement, covering security and anti-drug and weapons checks. Before Cargosnap, this was done by hand — operators writing up each checkpoint on paper, one container at a time.

The manual process didn't just slow down individual inspections. It contributed to longer queues at Gelog's REDEX gate, where every container has to clear inspection before moving through the bonded terminal.

The solution

Digitizing the mandatory 7-point inspection

Gelog evaluated its options and selected Cargosnap as the system that could support the full scope of its OEA requirements, moving the same 7-point checklist off paper and onto the app, with documentation captured directly in the field.

From hours to five minutes

The clearest change is speed: an inspection that used to take considerably longer manually is now completed in as little as 5 minutes, with reports generated automatically as soon as it's done. That speed has also shortened queue times at Gelog's REDEX gate.
