Inspects trucks and trailers for roadworthiness, damage, and compliance before dispatch or after arrival.
Step 1 :
Bumper
Check if it’s well placed and there is no damage. License plate?
Step 2 :
Engine
Check if it’s well placed and there is no damage or strange noises.
Step 3 :
Tires
Check if the tires and spare tire have the same shape and if there are no holes.
Step 4 :
Floor of the handling unit
Check if they’re well placed and working.
Step 5 :
Fuel tanks
Check if it’s well placed and there are no holes.
Step 6 :
Cabin
Check if it’s clean and in good condition for the journey.
Step 7 :
Air reservoir
Check if it’s calibrated and working properly.
Step 8 :
Drive shaft
Check if there are no vibrations, handling problems, or strange noises coming from beneath the vehicle.
Step 9 :
Fifth wheel
Check if it’s well placed and there is no damage.
Step 10 :
Exhaust system
Check if it is not corroded, rusted, weak and there are no holes.
