Amsterdam Warehouse Co. started with one warehouse rack and has grown tremendously in five years. They’re located in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, providing warehousing and repacking.

Amsterdam Warehouse’s operations were scaling, and the company was struggling to manage the flow of cargo information through the previous management methods. They also needed to standardize logistics processes. 

 

Amsterdam Warehouse used Excel spreadsheets filled in manually to inspect cargo. When they started as a small company, this method worked, but as the number of customers grew, complex spreadsheets and emails became confusing.  


Amongst their needs as a growing company, Amsterdam Warehouse also needed to provide transparent information to their customers about their cargo condition. This was a must, as visual cargo inspection proof was necessary to show that the products were loaded and discharged in perfect condition.

“It’s quite a responsibility. If something goes wrong, I’ll be held accountable as I am the last to check the products. I think it’s great to take as many photos as we want.”


Sometimes, if a customer says that two bottles are missing, we can show photos proving that it is not our fault as we sent the correct amount in perfect condition. If you follow the instructions in the app, you won’t miss a single step’s process. That’s perfect!”
