Case overview
MAN Energy Solutions warehouse manages a complex process that involves different departments, such as:
- High Bay where the Cargosnap process begins. It's a fully automated conveyor belt with five cranes delivering pallets to the workstation.
- Goods Movement: transportation area delivers the items to production and finishes the Cargosnap process.
- Production delivery and
external customer delivery.
The branch location in Denmark was having issues with collecting correct data in its warehouse, causing lots of errors and miscommunication. Operational teams often lost and damaged items or the number of items in the pallet wasn’t transported correctly.
