Port of Santos: A Cargosnapper at Latin America's largest port

Sep 24, 2021

As someone who is always seeking new opportunities and challenges my career has explored a wide variety of areas; this is something that I am immensely proud of.

Even though I am constantly evolving, the decision to start working at Cargosnap was my most significant change: a whole new industry. But it had the combination of innovation, technology, and problem-solving, areas which I have always enjoyed exploring.

The recruitment process was so welcoming that I felt part of this dream of simplifying logistics operations management.

Logistics is present in our everyday life

It is likely that most of the things around you likely arrived on a container ship. Maybe your food, shoes, and the phone you're looking at right now. People ship everything, and you probably haven't thought about how much logistics is present in the lives of everyone around the world.

I had a wonderful day visiting our customers in the largest Port in Latin America,
Port of Santos, and I got to see how our solution creates real-time supply chain visibility.

Containers are like giant legos; seeing them stacked in the Port, one cannot help but be impressed by their magnitude. With all that large-scale equipment, I was amazed at how vast and complex the supply chain is.

It has been very motivating to be part of a start-up's expansion moment and build this future with a talented team that are always willing to grow together. I certainly have a lot to explore in the Logistics world, and helping our customers overcome their challenges in operations management is one of my favorite parts of this process.
