From idea to a full-featured product
The idea behind CargoSnap
Cargosnap was established in 2016 in response to a request made by Euro-Rijn, a prominent logistics company specializing in metals and non-ferrous alloys. Euro-Rijn expressed their need for a simple and convenient mobile application that could efficiently gather inspection data at the terminal in a well-organized manner. From Euro-Rijn’s desire, Cargosnap was born.
Today, we here at Cargosnap have hundreds of customers worldwide, and that figure keeps growing. As a company we take great pride in helping so many companies and enhancing supply chain visibility.
Our customers’ ongoing support has been instrumental in this company achieving its current level of growth. Their encouragement has transformed our aspiration into reality. Presently our aim is to accelerate and invest in markets that haven’t heard of us yet.
Rotterdam Port Fund
A little over two years ago Cargosnap crossed paths with Rotterdam Port, a logistics fund investing in logistics innovators. The partnership that was formed was apt, it represented part of where we are from, and validated what we are, an innovative solution for Logistics.

Their investment gives Cargosnap the opportunity to learn more mature processes that are vital as we expand as a company. No doubt the pandemic has led to a lot of uncertainty across the world. It has caused companies to reduce their incomes yet countless businesses have stayed with us during this turbulent time.
